Pacquiao's 3 hit combo is his normal punch

Ranking Pacquiao's punching power is probably 7 from a 1 - 10 scale as 10 is the highest. Manny Pacquiao is not a natural welterweight, in fact he's just a full blown lightweight. He is usually the smaller guy in all of his bouts in the welterweight division. His smallest opponent is Ricky Hatton who is obviously bigger and more natural than him.   While I was reading a blog from the Hbo.com/boxing website, the author said Pacquiao bragged his speed throwing lightning combinations while saying "1-2-hook, it's like one punch, boom-boom-boom." Well everybody believes that, even Joshua Clottey. He said during the interview that Pacquiao don't have that much punching power but it's the speed that overwhelmed him. So, let's say Pacquiao's punching power is level 7, but never forget that Pacquiao punches 3 times more than a normal boxer.   What now Floyd Mayweather Jr.?

Boxing fans dismayed of THE EVENT bout: Pacquiao won

Manny Pacquiao is made famous by his super saiyan punching combinations, and Joshua Clottey is made famous by his uncanny defensive skills. What we have seen tonight was like the Manny Pacquiao hitting a human punching bag, but in spite of that I still commend Clottey for his super tough defense. I believe that this is just Freddie Roach's tune up fight for Pacquiao in case he and Mayweather Jr. will face off; Pacquiao told Kellerman that Mayweather Jr. must first defeat Shane Mosley before he can fight him.

Manny Pacquiao Pacquiao unleashed three times as many punches as Clottey, an average of 100+ a round, and landed as many power shots as Clottey threw. Final punch stats showed Pacquiao landing 246 of 1,231 punches to 108 of 399 for Clottey.

I can't defend or explain this one, this comment is just plain stupid. The fight which I think is super scripted is the coming fight this May 1, 2010.

Pacquiao vs Clottey very boring fight

Boring indeed, but for your information Joshua Clottey is one of the most defensive or in fact the best defensive boxer out there and if given the chance he can knock out anyone just look at his knock out rating. Good thing he admitted that for the first time in his professional career that this is the only legit loss he got. 

Clottey landed 108 punches only but look at Manny's face here. Make no mistake, the only reason why Pacquiao got caught big time by Clottey's upper cuts, because Manny allowed self to get hit.

Clottey's defense is far harder to penetrate compare to Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s shouler roll defense. The only difference is that Mayweather Jr. knows how to back pedal, duck and run. If only CLottey was not overwhelmed by Pacquiao's 100+ punches per round the fight could have ended in a different manner.

Joshua Clottey is over rated

Almost all boxer whom Pacquiao defeated have given ridiculous nicknames like bum, washed out, over rated, or old. 

"What was he supposed to do? If he played offense he'd get knocked out," Arum said. "I can't blame the kid for trying to wear him down."

 "Joshua Clottey had the power to knock him out but was reluctant to punch," DeJesus said. "We clearly got beat. I don't think he won a round."

"You gotta take a chance," Clottey's trainer, Lenny DeJesus, implored him after the sixth round. "You're in a fight and you gotta start taking chances."

Pacquiao throws both arms on Clottey...Hilarious!

I thought the funniest bout would be Mayweather Jr. vs Malignaggi, I didn't realize that Clottey vs Mayweather Jr. could top that.
