Dream Match Pacquiao vs Mayweather Jr.
According to some reports, the Pacquiao vs Cotto Firepower mega bout has generated 1.25 million pay-per-view buys and is still counting. Floyd Mayweather Jr. insisted that he’s the boxing cash cow right now and wants the bigger share for a possible bout between him and Pacquiao. His biggest so far ppv sales is the 2.4 million record breaking ppv buys when he clashed with the golden boy Oscar Dela Hoya. Make no mistake here, Mayweather is not the cash cow between his fight with Dela Hoya, Oscar is known to generate huge amount of ppv buys. The Hatton vs Mayweather generated 920k ppv buys which is almost even with the Pacquiao vs Hatton bout, although there are no exact details about the sales rumors are it generated 820,000 to 1.1 million, do not disregard that the bout happened during the peak of recession.
Mayweather Jr.’s latest blockbuster fight was with the bloated Juan Manuel Marquez. The bout generated 1.1 million pay per view buys, make no mistake again JMM has a huge number of Mexican followers in Mexico and the U.S. Now, the question is this, who should get the larger share of the pie in case Pacquiao vs Mayweather Jr. would actually happen?
After the Cotto vs Pacquiao mega bout, Floyd Mayweather Jr. couldn't be stop on his nonstop interviews left and right once again, boasting and whining at the same time. It’s good thing actually, it serves as a pre-hype in case Pacquiao vs Mayweather bout would take place. Now, the rumors are about Floyd Mayweather Jr. wants to get the bigger share of the ppv buys. Is that acceptable? Floyd Mayweather Jr. has been in hiatus for almost 2 years and he fought a bloated super lightweight contender in a no-title bout. Mayweather Jr. has no championship belt and has no record of challenging or defeating a worthy welterweight in his class. So, do you still think he deserves the bigger share?
Floyd Mayweather Jr. wants Pacquiao to call out his name.
"Manny Pacquiao is the fighter and every time someone asks him if he wants to fight me, he says it is up to his promoter, he's going to take a vacation, whatever the answer is," Mayweather said. "I have yet to hear him actually say, 'yes I want to fight Mayweather.' We are the fighters and if one fighter is talking about fighting another fighter, then they should just come out and say it. Manny Pacquiao doesn't say anything directly about fighting me because he might just know it's not a fight he can win."
"
If Manny Pacquiao wants to fight me, all he has to do is step up to the plate and say it himself," - Mayweather Jr.
A couple of days ago, in a radio show, Manny Pacquiao stated that he wants to fight Mayweather Jr. We all know that Pacquiao is not a coward which Mayweather Jr. keep on insisting. I bet Pacquiao has bigger balls than Floyd. If you could still remember, when Mayweather Jr. defeated Marquez, Shane Mosley came in the ring together with Bernard Hopkins, not only Shane did call out Floyd's name to fight him or a real welterweight with his own size, Shane and B-Hop even mercilessly laughed at Floyd when he couldn't answer him back, don't push the button yet, Floyd scolded back saying Shane was being disrespectful. I really wish Floyd Jr. would fight Shane, at least in case he win he has a belt to boast. It is really uncool right now because he is full of himself yet he has nothing to be proud of. The only reason people are watching and buying ppv for his fight is because they just want to see him get knock out badly. But how can you KO somebody that is always in defensive mode and doesn't want to fight.
Shane vs Mayweather Jr. should happen!
If you think Mayweather Jr. would fight everyone that calls out his name, you are wrong. Manny Pacquiao is the man that will fight anyone who's calling out his name.
Note:
Unqualified, beltless, brain damaged, and over weight no need to call Pacquiao.
With all these hearsays, talk shits and whatnot nobody knows if the dream match will really happen or will remain as a dream forever. Hopefully Bob and Oscar could seal a deal.

Floyd mayweather jr. vs Manny Pacquiao

I read an article from CNN and I was laughing so hard I thought I swallowed my tounge. Floyd Mayweather Jr. is funniest in fact the most smarta$$ of all boxers. During the Firepower fight he's no where to be found and now he's talking, to my stupidity I didn't even realize that he was just memorizing all his scripts for his interviews.
"If he wants to fight Floyd Mayweather all he has to do is step up to the plate."
Step up who? Mayweather Jr.'s last fight was with Marquez, Floyd is known for bashing and criticizing Pacquiao's opponents that they are all exposed and washed out fighters. And who is Juan Manuel Marquez - isn't he the guy who was floored down 4 times by Manny Pacquiao, one of the greatest fighter of all times.
"The world's going to go 'wow' if Floyd Mayweather gets beaten. That's what everyone is looking to see.
World will WOW if he really will fight Pacquiao and no 60/40 split bullcrap.
"If I beat Manny Pacquaio do you know what they are going to say? 'You are supposed to beat him, you are Floyd Mayweather, you are the bigger man'. If I knock him out they'll say 'you're supposed to knock him out he's been knocked out before'.
And Floyd really thinks he can hit Pacquiao with his 1 hit counter punch and 2 short straight combos? This guy is drunk.
"I'm in a no-win situation and when I beat him no one is going to be surprised because he's been beaten before; whatever I do to Pacquaio has been done before - he's been beaten on three occasions. And if I knock him out I don't want the world shouting because he's been knocked out twice before."
I better stop writing about this guy here, his last statement made me threw up already. With Mayweather Jr.'s pretty low knock out percentage, I can't believe he could utter the words 'After I knock out Manny'. Maybe I have to believe that this guy is really just a mere joke.
Update:
This one I read on Skysports, about Floyd Mayweather Jr. who thinks Pacquiao is running scared.
"When they asked Manny Pacquiao 'would you like to fight Floyd Mayweather' he said talk to my promoter; they didn't ask your promoter they asked you, what do you want to do?
"Manny Pacquiao was asked the same question 'do you want to fight Floyd Mayweather' three times. This is something the world is trying to force on him. If he wants to fight Floyd Mayweather all he has to do is step up to the plate."
Promoters makes the fight, great fighters just destroy everything that placed in front of them. Trash talkers just hide and have an interview after the fight fight. Great boxers do the talking inside the ring. Fake ones talk nonsensely outside the ring.
Funny thing is when Shane Mosley called out his name in front of his face after his win over Juan Marquez. Floyd Jr. called it a disrespect. Hilarious mofo!
P.S. Floyd Jr. you better ask your Dad if you have to fight Pacquiao, I'm sure Floyd Sr. is just another Pacfan.

But Ndou, who fought out of Australia for years although he’s now training in east Johannesburg with Harold Volbrecht (a welterweight contender in the 1980s), reckons Cotto will have the advantage. “I fought Cotto – he’s a strong, smart fighter. I don’t think it will be easy, but if I had to bet, I’d put my money on Cotto.”
Ndou, also a former sparring partner of Floyd Mayweather, said he had no doubt who would win if Pacman and “Money” ever got it on. “Mayweather will win with one hand behind his back.”
Ndou, the IBO welterweight champion, is scheduled to defend against Matthew Hatton, Ricky’s brother, on November 13, and he’s confident of keeping his belt. “He’s living off his brother’s name. He’s like a donkey in a horse race. You can feed him carrots and make him think he’s a race horse, but I’ll show that he’s just a donkey.”
I am not buying into the, "I believe Cotto will once again rise to the top of boxing when he steps into the ring with Manny Pacquiao on November 14th." Another note to the Manny Pacquiao fans, please stop comparing Miguel Cotto to Ricky Hatton, they are nothing alike and you will witness that soon enough, when you see Cotto bang Pacquiao's body and head like a drum. Cotto can take a punch, he proved that against Margarito, and I'm willing to bet he can take whatever Manny Pacquiao is going to dish out and unlike Ricky Hatton, Cotto will be dishing it right back.
My prediction for the fight goes as follows: Miguel Cotto will simply be too much for Manny Pacquiao. His size and strength advantage alone will give Pacman fits and what is going to happen when Pacquiao lands flush shots on Cotto and nothing happens? Jumping up in weight classes will finally catch up with Manny Pacquiao on November 14th and when the fight is over and it's Miguel Cotto's hand that is raised in victory, please don't make excuses, just remember I told you so. - Tony Montgomery / braggingrightscorner.com
In countless occasions Pacquaio has shown us that he is good fighter, of that there is no doubts. However to see him as unbeatable or to proclaim that he posses quality of a great technician or other virtues that he lacks is far from logical in my opinion. However, this adventure in these weight categories has come to end, November 14th he will fight a fighter in his peak superior in all attributes and it will cost him greatly for him to have thought he could win.
When Cotto make his power felt on the fighter in front of him, the Filipino will realize that he should have never taken this fight. That night he will realize the advantages with the catchweights that his trainer tried to impose will not be enough. In that moment we will see Cotto for what he really is, a quality champion in his natural weight and he will do what a champion should do when he’s prepared and focused for a fight. The young prospect Antonio DeMarco repeated to us that old boxing adage “Fights are won and lost in the GYM.” Cotto is busy doing what he needs to do and has left the rest to his team.
My chips are all in, this time the Boricua will give his best performance and I am sure that Cotto will end with the Filipino’s dreams and bring him back to reality. - REYNALDO SÁNCHEZ/ BOXEOEDITORES.COM/boxeomundial.net
Pacquiao needs to realize that it won’t matter if he loses the fight. Pacquiao will still remain a hero in his home country of the Philippines. The only outcome of his loss to Cotto is that, depending on how bad the defeat is, Pacquiao might lose out on a potential mega fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. That’s no big deal. Cotto will fight Mayweather in that case and Pacquiao can always hang around and hopefully get a chance at fighting the winner of that bout.
I’d rather that the winner of that fight someone else like Antonio Margarito rather than have to face Pacquiao, who be more of a retread at that point. But the cable networks will probably want to give Pacquiao another chance at the bit to see if he can redeem himself somehow. I don’t give Pacquiao any chance against the winner of that fight, but at least he’d still be able to get a good payday. - Manuel Perez/BoxingNews24.com
“If I had to pick anybody in the world to fight Pacquiao, it would be Cotto,".
“Cotto has the best chance of anybody to beat him (Pacquiao) because of his physical power and strong left hook." - Angelo Dundee
I know that many Filipinos will be hurt on November 14th, I feel very sad for them because Manny Pacquiao is all they got. The saying goes “Ignorance is Bliss” and they are very naive when it comes to boxing and they will face the harsh reality that night.
I will say it again, “Miguel Cotto is bigger, better, and stronger than the Pacman”. The only way Cotto will lose this fight is if he is no longer the same guy or is weight drained from the catch weight.
All those HBO 24-7 shows, those training video with Pacman hitting the bag with fancy moves are nothing for Cotto, remember the bag doesn’t hit back. Miguel Cotto is the master of timing he beat faster guys in Zab Judah and Shane Mosley. Speed is nothing new for Cotto, he will show how you counter speed on November 14th. Manny Pacquiao will have no answer for the raw size and power of Cotto, believe that!
P.S-I am willing to bet 95 % of you Pacquiao fans have no clue who the legendary Carlos Ortiz is! that’s how limited your boxing knowledge is. Lester Salvador / Nowboxing.com

White I was reading this article 'compubox pre analysis', at the very beginning of the paragraph it reads 'Pacquiao attempting to win five titles in five different weight classes'. The press telegram website also wrote about the same article stating Manny Pacquiao has won major world championships in four weight classes. BBC Sports also reported that Pacquiao is only bidding to become a five-weight world champion.
Let's start with Pacquiao's legitimate world championship titles:
WBC Lightweight / 135 David Diaz
WBC Super Feather / 130 Juan Manual Marquez
IBF Super Bantam / 122 Lehlo Ledwaba
WBC Flyweight / 112 Chatchai Sasakul
Do you think Pacquiao's six world titles in six different weight divisions (flyweight, junior featherweight, featherweight, junior lightweight, lightweight and junior welterweight) aren't legit? The only reason some idiots out there are discrediting Manny Pacquiao of his accomplishments is mainly because his 1st fight with Marco Antonio Barrera is not considered as a title fight by any sanctioning bodies, But Pacquiao was recognized as world champion by Ring Magazine after his victory, and he held that title until relinquishing it in 2005. For some the Pacquiao - Hatton bout is not a legitimate world title because for them "legitimate championships" are only sanctioned by the WBA, WBC, WBO andor IBF.
In professional boxing, the lineal championship of a weight class is a notional world championship title. It is initially held at some moment in time by a boxer universally acclaimed as the best in the class. Another boxer can only win the lineal championship by defeating the reigning lineal champion in the ring. The lineal champion is described as "the man who beat the man".
When Marco Antonio Barrera defeated Naseem Hamed he automatically earned the IBO Featherweight title. On September 8, 2001, he defeated former champion Enrique Sanchez by sixth round TKO. On 22 June 2002, Barrera defeated Morales in a rematch, for the WBC Featherweight title, winning by unanimous decision. Barrera chose to defend the Ring Magazine Featherweight title instead of accepting the WBC title. On 7 November, he defeated former five-time world champion Johnny Tapia by a 12-round unanimous decision. Barrera got his 60th career fight on 12 April 2003, defeating former world champion Kevin Kelley by a knockout in round four to retain the Ring Magazine's world Featherweight title. Manny Pacquiao defeated Marco Barrera in a non-legit world title bout except for the Ring Magazine world title. Guess what Barrera is the Featherweight lineal champion.
To all of you cry babies out there I'd like you to know that Ricky Hatton is the light welterweight lineal champion when Pacquiao defeated him. Floyd Mayweather Jr. defeated him in a non-title welterweight bout. Hatton was the WBA Welterweight Champion, but relinquished this title on 31 August 2006. Hatton is also the former WBU, WBA Light Welterweight Champion and WBC, WBA, WBO Inter-Continental Light Welterweight Champion, and former Ring Magazine Junior Welterweight Champion.
With or without the title, Pacquiao still defeated the lineal champions during those times thus making him the only person to win 6 lineal championship bout and that sums it all. Satisfied? If not don't fail to watch Pacquiao vs Cotto live!

Krista Ranillo is linked to Manny Pacquiao after Ara Mina, although many said they've seen Manny and Ara together, both of them never admitted these accusations and hear says.
Krista Ranillo is the leading lady of Manny Pacquiao on his upcoming movie Wapakman. Even during Pacquiao's training in Baguio, reports said media are not allowed and supposed to take photos and videos of them together. Krista and Manny were also reported giving away food and other stuff during the Ondoy floodings.
Krista Ranillo was even spotted watching Pacquiao playing hoops in Baguio, some even mentioned she gave Manny Pacquiao a good face sweat wipe.
Alright, so rumors are now spreading like a wild fire in the world wide web. According to reports, Krista Ranillo is now in Las Vegas to support pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao. Hmm?! When I watched The Buzz last time, Jovert said Jinkee Pacquiao won't be flying in to Vegas because of the said fact. Looks like the very hottie Ms. Krista Ranillo will get banned soon in Pacland :)

A balut is a fertilized duck egg with a nearly developed embryo inside that is boiled and eaten in the shell. NOTE: Boiled meaning cooked, most people thought Filipinos eat balut uncooked. Nasty! Balut is commonly sold as streetfood in the Philippines. It's not only common in the Philippines but also in other Asian countries such as in Laos (where it is called Khai Luk), Cambodia (Pong tea khon in Cambodian), and Vietnam (Trứng vịt lộn or Hột vịt lộn in Vietnamese).
Anthony Bourdain eating Balut
Balut is very high in protein and some even say it's a good aphrodisiac. Balut is a very good choice of diet for body builders and athletes.
Kermit Cintron accused Manny Pacquiao of using steroids, Floyd Mayweather Sr. states his thoughts that Manny Pacquiao is on steroids or some form of "supplement". Correction, Pacquiao is gobbling the Philippine Steroid - Balut during his past time!

David Diaz is the only boxer fought and defeated by Manny Pacquiao who selflessly admitted that Manny Pacquiao is one hell of a boxer. I believe that those suckers who were defeated and suffered the same fate like Diaz were until now are murmuring, crying and couldn't accept the fact that they are massacred alive inside the squared ring. But one thing for sure back home they suffered the same sickness as the David Diaz F-Bomb Syndrome...Manny Pacquiao is f-king f^ck super+very+unbelievably fast!
